December to March
Amberjack
Also running: Sierra, cabrilla, snapper
Cooler water, calm days. A good season if you're just starting out.

We're local captains. We head out every day before sunrise from Marina La Costa, on our own boats. You bring your gear, we bring the rest.

No middlemen, no offices here. Whoever answers the WhatsApp is the same person tying up the boat before dawn, and the owners run trips as captains too. We've known this bay since we were kids and we still fish it on the days we aren't taking guests out.
Every trip is yours alone — the boat is never shared with strangers. First time fishing? Don't worry, the captain will show you how to cast and how to fight the fish. And if something didn't go the way you hoped, tell us straight. That's how we sort things out around here.
The bay changes through the year. Here's what has been running, so you know what to expect before you come — and so we don't sell you a story.
The whole year, month by month

Still running well, and fewer boats on the water.
The sea makes no promises and neither will we. If the day looks slow, we'll tell you before we head out. Ask us on WhatsApp how the week is going.
We'd rather tell you here than at the dock: this is what you're paying for, what you bring yourself, and what you can ask us for on the side.
None of this is in the base price, but we'll sort it out with you before you sail.

CONAPESCA
In Mexico every person fishing on board needs their own CONAPESCA licence. It is not in the price of the trip because it's a personal permit, issued in your name. It's the step guests ask about most, so here it is in full.
Message us before your trip and we'll walk you through it. Much easier to sort out from home than at five in the morning on the dock.
Ask us on WhatsAppWe'd rather they told you themselves.
Example reviews to show how this section looks — real reviews from Google, Facebook and WhatsApp go here as they come in.
We left at 5am and by 7 we already had dorado in the boat. The captain knew every corner of the bay.
